The story here is less about a new theme than about a studio doubling down on a mechanic that has spread rapidly across the online slots market since 2022.

Nolimit City has expanded its Duck Hunters slot franchise with the release of Duck Hunters 2, a follow-up to the original title that builds on the position multiplier mechanics that have become increasingly common across the online slot market in recent years. The new online slot retains the core multiplier-based format of its predecessor while increasing the maximum multiplier available on a single position and introducing additional bonus upgrades, feature-buy options and side-bet mechanics.

The commercial hook is scale. According to the developer, the sequel aims to deliver a more volatile experience, supported by a top payout of 40,000 times the stake. That figure sits above the original. It signals a deliberate move toward the higher end of Nolimit City’s already extreme-volatility catalog.

Once the deal is completed, 80% of its EBITDA is expected to come from those two markets.

According to the deal investor deck, the combined group expects online betting and gaming to be its largest vertical, as it accounted for 48% of the group’s combined pro forma adjusted EBITDA in H1.

Distributed gaming followed at 27%, then casinos at 25%.

The two companies began collaborating in November 2025. As part of the deal, Polymarket provided data for a dedicated prediction market section on Yahoo Finance. The feature provided market-based probabilities of economic, political, and financial developments alongside Yahoo Finance content. 

The Yahoo Finance prediction market section was taken out in April. The companies have now confirmed that the larger deal is also off, as reported by Bloomberg. 

Yahoo said Polymarket is still an advertising partner and suggested the two could collaborate on other projects in the future. Polymarket has not provided any public explanation for the end of the data partnership.
